You, Me and Our Resilience: Cross-cultural Insights on Resilience, Poverty and Climate Change

Working with theatre groups S.A.F.E. Kenya in Mombasa, and GoldenTree Productions in Cornwall. This interdisciplinary project uses participatory theatre to further understanding of resilience to extreme weather in the context of poverty and climate change in coastal communities.

SPACES Sustainable Poverty Alleviation from Coastal Ecosystem Services

SPACES is an international collaborative project led by Stockholm Resilience Centre and University of Exeter, with 30 partners in Kenya, Mozambique, UK and Canada. It is funded by ESPA.

MAGIC Multi-scale Adaptations to Global Change at the Coast

MAGIC is a collaboration with six institutions in France, South Africa and USA to understand how different social actors respond to change at the coast and how current adaptations may have negative consequences in terms of transferring vulnerability – we term these maladaptations.
