In this project, the student will take an explicitly interdisciplinary approach within environmental social sciences, and probably adopt a mixed methods approach. You will need to be willing to utilise both qualitative and quantitative social science methods, and be familiar with social surveys and interviewing.
Candidates might have a background in social sciences such as geography, anthropology, sociology, psychology, or development studies, but those from other disciplines, including health sciences and environmental sciences are also encouraged to apply. The willingness and motivation to undertake interdisciplinary research at ESI are key criteria for the post. Further details and how to apply can be found here.
